Accessibility Statement

Ally Counselling
Last updated: September 2026

At Ally Counselling, I believe that people should be able to access information and support in ways that feel comfortable, respectful and inclusive.

I aim to make this website as accessible and easy to use as reasonably possible, including for people with different sensory, cognitive, physical and communication needs.

Our approach to accessibility

I aim to:

  • use clear and straightforward language wherever possible

  • provide information in a clear and easy-to-navigate format

  • use headings and page structures to make information easier to find

  • provide alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate

  • consider colour contrast and readability

  • avoid unnecessary visual or sensory distractions

  • make the website usable across different devices and screen sizes

  • provide ways to contact me if the website itself creates a barrier to accessing information or services.

As a small, independent practice, I am continuing to review and improve the accessibility of my website and digital services.

If you experience an accessibility barrier

If there is something on this website that makes it difficult for you to access information or contact me, please let me know.

I welcome feedback about accessibility and will do my best to find another way to provide the information or support you need.

You can contact me at:

hello@allycounselling.au

If you prefer, you can also let me know about your accessibility needs when making an enquiry or booking an appointment. Where reasonably possible, I will work with you to find an approach that makes accessing my services more comfortable and manageable.

Accessibility and counselling

Accessibility is not only about the website.

I aim to offer counselling in a way that recognises that people have different communication styles, sensory needs, processing styles, energy levels and ways of engaging.

If there are particular adjustments that would help you feel more comfortable during counselling, you are welcome to discuss these with me.

Ongoing improvement

I recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process. I will continue to review my website and services and make reasonable improvements as opportunities arise.

If you have a suggestion about how I could make this website or my services more accessible, I would be very happy to hear from you.
