A Neurosensitive Counsellor to Walk Your Journey with You

Understand your unique self and experiences.

Whether you are wondering about your neurotype, in the process of assessment, have received a diagnosis, or simply know that you experience the world differently, you don't have to navigate it alone.

With my own lived experience of neurodivergence, I understand how discovering or making sense of this part of yourself can feel big, isolating and overwhelming. It can bring relief and recognition, but also questions about your past, your identity, your relationships and how you want to move forward.

You may simply be wondering, “Where do I even start?”

Counselling can offer a space to slow things down, make sense of your experiences and learn more about yourself without needing to have all the answers.

Together, we can explore what supports you, what drains you, what you need more or less of, and begin to find ways of navigating life that work with the way you are, rather than constantly asking you to work against yourself.

Re-connect to your own guidance and sensitise to what you feel

I offer holistic, tailored counselling that recognises there is no single approach that works for everyone. Together, we can explore what feels supportive and meaningful for you, drawing from different therapeutic approaches and practical tools according to your needs, preferences and capacity.

Depending on what you are navigating, we might explore:

  • Mind–body connection and greater awareness of what your body is communicating

  • Acceptance and self-compassion — making space for your experiences without judgement

  • Psychoeducation to better understand yourself, your patterns and what may be happening beneath the surface

  • Neurofriendly Mindfulness and cognitive-behavioural approaches to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviours

  • Sensory and environmental needs and how they may be influencing your wellbeing

  • Emotional awareness and regulation to work with your nervous system and capacity

  • Wellbeing and self-care, creating a personalised approach that is realistic and sustainable

  • Accommodations and advocacy, identifying what you need and finding ways to communicate and support those needs

  • Executive functions understanding and supportive tools

Counselling doesn't always have to happen through words alone. Where appropriate, we can also incorporate gentle breath and body-based practices and acupressure to support grounding, awareness and regulation.

There is no prescribed pathway. We explore together, at your pace, what helps you feel more connected, resourced and able to navigate your life in a way that works for and with you.

Collaborative Counselling and Flexible Approach

Respond to what you need.

You are the specialist of you.

You know yourself better than anyone. My role is not to tell you who you are or what you should do, but to walk alongside you as your ally — listening with empathy, curiosity and unconditional positive regard.

Together, we can explore what you are experiencing, make sense of what feels difficult, recognise your strengths and discover what might support you in moving forward.

You remain at the centre of your counselling journey. You decide what feels right for you.

My approach is flexible and responsive, meeting you where you are and adapting to your needs, preferences and capacity. Counselling can take place in person, online or in nature, with individual sessions or group support available.
